The parthenon was serene under the brightnes of the moon while a soft invisible breeze caressed the souls and minds of those who filed the Odeion of Herodes Atticus Theatre in Athens.It was the time and hour for me to say farewell to the stage that night.After 24 years since the first time I had the privilege to sing in this Unique stage.48 years since I began to travel singing around the World and 50 years since Hartino To Fengaraki I was recorded.I was back for one more last Concert and it was our special appointement together.A Gathering to End the five years long Farewell World Concert Tour.We started in Berlin Philharmonie took us to five continents and after New York Lincoln Center the London RoyalAlbert Hall and Paris Opera Garnier Athens.It was not a sad evening but one of fulfilment and Gratitude.I was singing to pay tribute to my country that night.Offering the gifts I have received and preciously collected singing for you all these years the values of my Heritage.Values of the world I needed to beleive and lived with.Values of Love.Pride Honesty and Respect Freedom Dignity and Loyalty.Many of you were there as always to share and bravely supported my emotions.Singing has made for me the love of life visible.Thank you all from the deepest of my Heart.I hope you know much I love you.With affection
